This is more than a brand.
It’s a lifestyle.
A return to self.

"Maison Chandèl is more than just a candle company—it's a celebration of my heritage, a tribute to tradition, and a testament to the power of the human spirit."

The Maker
Where Luxury Meets Legacy
Maison Chandèl was born from intention, heritage, and rebirth.
I was born in Haiti, where creativity, culture, and resilience are part of everyday life. That foundation shaped how I move through the world—with care, reverence, and a deep respect for legacy. After years spent between New York, London, and Port-au-Prince, I returned to my roots with a new vision: to create something timeless, soulful, and luxurious.
Maison Chandèl is that vision made real.
Our brand is inspired by King Henri Christophe—a symbol of Black excellence and sovereignty. Our logo reflects his enduring dream: one of strength, elegance, and dignity. The phoenix, a sacred emblem, honors the beautiful cycles of transformation that life—and we—must move through to become who we truly are.
At Maison Chandèl, self-care is sacred. Every product we make is a ritual, a return to self:
-
Our candles are named after cities that shaped me—Paris, London, New York—and infused with stories, elegance, and emotional resonance.
-
Our body oils and scrubs offer nourishment for both skin and spirit, inviting you to slow down and luxuriate.
-
Our hair growth oil is rooted in my mother’s original recipe—a beloved, decades-old family tradition, now elevated and shared with the world.
Handcrafted in small batches, each piece is made with reverence—for beauty, for history, for becoming.
This is more than a brand.
It’s a call to remember your light.
A home for those who walk in both softness and power.
A celebration of legacy, refinement, and rebirth.

The Maison Chandèl logo draws inspiration from the coat of arms of King Henry Christophe of Haiti, featuring the phoenix - a timeless symbol of rebirth and strength - and the emblematic phrase "Je renais de mes cendres" which translates to "I will rise of my ashes."
